A team of medical experts arrived Chennai to study the health condition of Rajini and give necessary treatment to him. Meanwhile, to avoid rumours, Rajini family arranged for a video shoot in which Rajini himself appears and speaks with the fans. Actor Rajinikanth who is on hemo-dialysis for blood purification to be taken to London for kidney treatment, sources close to the family told.

Rajini fans all over the state performed special pooja and abhishekams to their favourite gods for the speedy recovery of the superstar from his present health crisis.
